Becky & Sharon raise over £2,000 for The Christie
An amazing £2,071 has been raised by Rebecca Waterhouse and Sharon Travis so far, both valued Keeley Travis team members, on behalf of The Christie hospital in Manchester.
Becky and Sharon have both had experiences with cancer in the last couple of years and greatly value the work The Christie does in support of patients. That’s where the idea to raise money for them came from – though the method chosen was a little surprising!
This past Sunday (10/09/2023) the pair took part in an 11,000 foot skydive – with very different experiences!
Speaking about the jump, Becky said:
“It was the best experience of my life! I’d do it again tomorrow. I’m going to see if I can do it on my own soon.”
Whilst Sharon, who has a fear of heights, said:
“It was terrifying. Never again. I’m proud to have done it but…never again!”
We’re proud of them too – a fantastic achievement and an amazing amount of money raised. In the video below you can see them both come in to land.
